Job Creation

Blue Water is committed to fostering job growth and economic development in each community that we are a part of. Each new project brings upwards of $15 million of economic impact to a community. During construction, hundreds of project-related jobs are created. Once completed, our resorts provide six full time and up to 80 seasonal jobs. We pride ourselves on hiring over 75% of our staff from within the local community and focus on using local vendors and suppliers to keep our properties moving.

Community Outreach

Blue Water properties use their own events to help support community partners by collecting food donations, donating proceeds and giving organizations a platform for building awareness.

Non-Profit Organizations

Blue Water partners with local non-profits to provide venues and marketing support for fundraising events. Staff members support community organizations through a United Way giving campaign and the company gives generously to non-profits on the Eastern Shore. Our KOA properties support KOA Care Camps, a non-profit that sends children with cancer to summer camps so they can take a little time out to be a kid again.
